Cockatoo, Too by Bethanie Deeney Murguia + GIVEAWAY
I’ve always loved a picture book. Even when I was well into chapter books I would still check them out from the library to view their beautiful illustrations. To this day I have a growing collection that I continually add to. Recently, I was sent a new title to enjoy – the delightful Cockatoo, Too by Bethanie Deeney Murguia.
Cockatoo, too is both written and illustrated by Ms. Murguia and features colorful illustrations of cockatoos, toucans and and a host of other birds. Below the illustrations you’ll find a series of fun tongue twisters that I’m sure any child will enjoy. It’s a happy book filled with colorful images and phrases that will delight all.
As an added bonus Ms. Murguia will soon be in town for story time and a signing at two local bookshops. On Saturday, February 20th you can find her at Children’s Book World at 10:30am and at Once Upon a Time at 2:00pm.
