Dining at Triple George Grill in Las Vegas

One of the things I love to do when I travel is have a nice dinner. When I’m at home it’s all about staying within a budget but when I’m on vacation it’s the time to treat myself.  For this visit to Vegas Shannon and I were offered a meal at Triple George Grill. I took one look at their high Yelp score and swiftly agreed. Let me tell you, it was the right decision.

Triple George Grill is located Downtown on a block that is undergoing some significant changes. It’s being turned into a pedestrian street that should offer a more upscale version of the nearby Fremont street. I think the restaurant will fit in perfectly because it has an old world ambiance about it that is just fantastic. This is the Vegas of the Rat Pack.

And the food. Oh the food! We started out with a bruschetta.

Isn’t it a thing of beauty? And it tasted heavenly. Fresh tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, and garlic toast…mm mm mm.

Now, Triple George Grill is the home of an award winning martini. I’m not a fan of a straight martini as I have an aversion to olives so I asked our amazing server, Ryan, if there was an alternate option. He recommended the martini of the day: basil cucumber.

It was amazing! The perfect accompaniment to the delicious entree that followed.

Chicken Saltimbocca. This was a chicken breast topped with prosciutto and mozarella and smothered in mushroom wine sauce. Whoa Nelly! It was incredibly, incredibly delicious.
Shannon opted for a chicken cutlet with a lemon herb sauce which she loved as much as I loved mine.

Dining at Triple George Grill was a wonderful experience. The ambiance was perfect, that staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I can’t wait to go back.
