Get Your Craft On At Crafted At The Port of Los Angeles

I am addicted to craft fairs. I am a cheapskate by nature but one thing I love spending my money on is handmade items. I love the fact that I can own something unique and support an independent artisan at the same time. Unfortunately, craft fairs only come around once in awhile. So what’s a girl to do when she needs a craft fix?

Well, luckily I don’t have that problem anymore thanks to Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles.

Crafted (as I like to call it) is a year round independent craft marketplace located in a former Navy Warehouse at the Port of Los Angeles. I love that it’s housed in a former warehouse. What a great example of adaptive reuse.

So what will you find at Crafted? Well, just about anything. Food, clothing, accessories, jewelry, home decor, etc, etc etc.

It’s a great place to walk around, check out some great goods, and maybe buy a thing or two (or three or four). And often there’s special happenings going on like food trucks, live music, and wine tasting. Recently I visited for an Etsy make and take event. Many of the vendors were offering on the spot crafts that you could, well, make and take. It was so fun and the warehouse was all decked out.

Isn’t it so cool looking? And it’s so awesome that whenever I’m jonesing for some handmade goodness I can just stop by Crafted for my fix.

full disclosure: I attended a VIP event at Crafted and was provided with a gift bag full of items from the vendors. All opinions are my own. Seriously. You should see how many handmade prints and stationary and decor I own. I could open my own stall.
