Viewing Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at D23

Walt Disney Archives

One of my absolute favorite movies is Mary Poppins. I loved it as a kid and I love it as an adult. To this day I still wish I could snap my fingers and my room would magically be cleaned.

Recently, I attended the D23 Expo in Anaheim. This official Disney convention celebrates all aspects of the company. Now, I’m not a crazy huge Disney fan but I grew up in Orange County so…it’s basically in my blood. One of the highlights of the convention is the exhibit – The Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives. This exhibit displays artifacts from various Disney productions and since this year marks Mary Poppins 50th Anniversary it was largely devoted to the film.

I. Was. In heaven. So many wonderful items were on display. Costumes, props, merchandise, promotional material even a collection of fan art. So without further ado I present to you – Mary Poppins!
