The Scent-sational Scents of Pacifica Perfume

You know I’m a book work. You know I’m a film buff. You know I’m a foodie. But did you also know that I love perfume? I’m no Brian Fantana but not a day goes by when I don’t scent up before I leave the house. So when the awesome brand Pacifica Perfume offered me a couple of sample bottles it was an offer I couldn’t refuse.

But what to choose? With 24 scents to pick from I was overwhelmed. I wanted them all! What to do? What to do?

Since it’s Springtime I decided to narrow my choices down to the floral scents – I figured they would be the most season appropriate. And then it was easy because two scents jumped out at me – California Star Jasmine and Malibu Lemon Blossom. Two scents inspired by my home state? My very favorite place in the world? I’ll take them!

Now you many not think that was the best way to choose a scent and I admit I was a bit nervous I had made the wrong choice. Just because they’re named after places I love doesn’t mean that they’ll be scents I love. So when the package came, I opened the boxes, sprayed a bit and…wow! They smelled really good.

I decided to replace my current perfumes with them for a little while to see if I continued to think they smelled good. Because that doesn’t always happen. Case in point…I’ve got a bottle of perfume on my nightstand that I loved in the store but now think smells like bug spray.

Well, weeks later I’m still using them. So long Michael Kors. See ya later Nanette Lepore. Pacifica’s in town!

Seriously. They smell so so good. The California Star Jasmine is a soft scent that smells just like the flower. It’s lovely. But I absolutely love  Malibu Lemon Blossom. The scent is so light and clean and refreshing. It smells like California. Sounds silly but I dare any Californian living out of state to try it and not feel homesick.

Luckily I do live here. So this spring you can find me at the beach. Just follow the scent of lemon blossom.
