Sesame Ginger Salad Now Available at The Habit Burger Grill

Like most people I’m constantly striving to gain healthier eating habits. As a result I’ve been cooking a lot of dishes filled with lean proteins and veggies. But sometimes I just don’t want to cook and healthy to go options can be few and far between. Lucky for me, The Habit Burger Grill just introduced the Sesame Ginger Salad and I was invited to try it (I was given a complimentary gift card).

The limited edition Sesame Ginger Salad is available with your choice of two proteins – char-grilled chicken and sushi-grade ahi. Always a fan of chicken salads I opted for that on my first visit. The freshly grilled chicken topped a variety of carrots, cucumber, cilantro, chopped tomatoes, edamame, and wonton strips. The chicken is then topped with teriyaki sauce and a sesame ginger dressing is provided.

All Habit salads are prepared in house and made to order ensuring the freshest of ingredients. That detail shone through and the salad was fresh and flavorful. There was plenty of chicken and it made for a filling meal. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the edamame but that’s just my personal preference.

Since today is Ash Wednesday and I can’t eat meat I returned to The Habit to try the salad with the ahi tuna. The tuna steak is delicately seared and placed atop the same fresh ingredients. This time I opted for no edamame and I found the salad to be even more delicious than my first visit. This was actually my first encounter with seafood at The Habit and I must say I’m impressed. I’m happy to have a new fresh fish option, especially now that it’s Lent.

The Sesame Ginger Salad is available for a limited time and is definitely worth ordering. Be sure to pair it with The Peach Ginger Nectar which is oh so delicious!
