Visiting Alpine Market in Torrance
I am half German and couldn’t be prouder of that. I love my German heritage especially when it comes to food. From Germany comes the most delicious food. Unfortunately, it hasn’t caught on much here in the states (although sausages are becoming increasing popular). Thank goodness for Alpine Market, my one stop shop for everything Deutsch.
Don’t let that picture fool you. Come here on a Saturday afternoon and you’ll find this area jammed packed with people purchasing some of the best meats in SoCal. I’m partial to the liverwurst. Spread it on a fresh baked pretzel and I’m in heaven.
Need some mustard for your sausage? Alpine Market has you covered.
The market also has a bakery but aside from pretzels and rolls I don’t recommend it. Instead head for the dessert aisles for an abundance of cookies
chocolates
and gummies.
Think Haribo only makes gummi bears? Think again.
But if dessert’s not your thing you’ll also find lots of jarred and canned goodness.
Or how bout some Jagermeister?
No matter what your preference Alpine Market has you covered.
