Celebrating the Power of Pink at Mimi’s Cafe
As you may already know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On October 1st I was able to commemorate the start of this at a pink ribbon tying ceremony at Mimi’s Cafe.

Here’s what will be happening at Mimi’s Cafe during the month of October:
– Each Mimi’s Cafe will have a Giving Tree (like the one above) displayed. Guests can donate $1 dollar to place a leaf on the tree. In return they will get some great coupons to use on their next visit. My personal favorite is the $10 of $30 coupon. That’s a nice chunk of change!
– Guests who donate $5 will also receive a pink ribbon pin.
– Those not visiting a Mimi’s Cafe can also donate online and place a leaf on the digital Giving Tree.
– Two new drinks are debuting – Sparking Pink Passion Mimosa and Pink Passion Sparkler. They are made with passion fruit juice and are delicious! Portions of the proceeds from these drinks will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

full disclosure: I was invited by Mimi’s Cafe to attend the ceremony and was provided lunch. All opinions are my own.
