Strictly Sail Long Beach Harbor Tour
Last week Strictly Sail Long Beach was held at Shoreline Village. Sailing is a big mystery to me so I was excited to check it out (I was given free admission). There were lots of booths, even more sailboats and hands on demonstrations. My absolute favorite part was a harbor cruise on the catamaran Bama Breeze.
It was early evening and the weather was absolutely perfect – crisp, cool and slightly cloudy. My friend and I spent most of the voyage sitting on the front (bow?) of the boat and taking in our beautiful surroundings.
This is why I love Southern California.
