Enjoying Angel City Brewery’s Peach Berliner Weisse
Good mail days are the best, aren’t they? I was out of town for a couple of days last week and when I returned there was a treat for me from Angel City Brewery – a sampling of their latest release, Peach Berliner Weisse, and a bottle of Angel City IPA. Woohoo! You can bet I made sure to try them right away.
Peach Berliner Weisse is the latest limited edition offering from Angel City. Made with freshly harvested California peaches it’s a refreshing summer treat. It’s slightly tart with a peach note that hits you right at the end of your sip. I LOVED it. It really is the perfect summer drink and definitely my new favorite Angel City offering.
To celebrate National IPA Day on August 4th I also received a bottle of Angel City IPA. It’s one of two Angel City beers that are now available all over California (the other is Angel City Pilsner). This one is a tart, citrusy drink with the signature IPA bitterness. I’m not a big IPA fan because of that but I’m certainly happy to celebrate the brewery’s expansion. Here’s to you, Angel City!
