Enjoying a Custom Made Pizza at The Pizza Studio

There are few foods I love more than pizza. Give me some cheese, tomato sauce, and a good crust and I’m a happy woman. Recently I was given a gift card to try a new pizza spot in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles – The Pizza Studio.

The Pizza Studio is located in the new FIGat7th shopping center and has a build your own pizza concept. All ingredients are laid out in front of you and the pizza is made as you order.

There’s a variety of crusts, cheeses, sauces, veggies, meats and seasonings to choose from.

I decided to go with a rosemary herb crust, tomato sauce, mozarella cheese, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes and pepperoni. Not too creative but what can I say? I like a traditional pizza pie!

I’ve already had dinner but, boy, this sure looks good.

And it was good! The crust was deliciously herby and all the toppings were fresh and flavorful. For a personal pizza it’s pretty large but I managed to polish it off in one sitting. Plus, what’s not too love about the make it yourself concept? No more dividing pizzas into fractions to try to please everyone. No more picking off topping after topping that I don’t like. Just one fresh pizza that’s tailor made for me. Love it.
