Girl Meets Grill – My Dinner At Asiana Grill + GIVEAWAY!
Yup, Asiana Grill comes from the folks behind the popular fast food place Yoshinoya. They realized that not everyone is looking for a quick, easy meal that can be picked up at a drive thru window. Some folks like to customize their meal, see what’s cooking, and sit down and relax while they dine. I am one of those people (although I can’t completely shake the drive thru) so Asiana Grill is perfect for me.
The menu couldn’t be easier to comprehend. First you pick your style – platter, soup, salad, or great yellow bun (more on that later). Then you pick your protein – steak, chicken breast, chicken thigh, pork, shrimp, white fish, or tofu. Thatsa allotta variety!
On my visit I was intrigued by the Great Yellow Bun. Turns out it’s a slightly sweet roll that makes a perfect sandwich bun.
I then chose chicken breast and sweet and sour sauce to top it off. And as a bonus the great yellow bun is served with sweet potato fries – my favorite!
Now, I’m not a soda drinker so I was pleased to notice that Asiana Grill offers two varieties of flavored water – lychee lemongrass and cucumber lemongrass. These also are made fresh in the store. I couldn’t resist and had to try both. OH.MY.GOSH. So yummy!
And get this – Asiana Grill has over 180 possible flavor combinations. Yowza! Here’s a little insight.
Since Asiana Grill is a new concept there’s only a couple of locations right now – Fullerton and Los Angeles but things should change in the future. I hope so because it’s a bit of a trip for me to get to either one and I’m going to be spending a lot of money on gas before one opens up closer!
Oh, and if you do live near those locations have I got a treat for you! Two free meals! How do you like them apples? Enter below and good luck!
