Handcrafted Ensaladas at Del Taco + Giveaway
It’s time for another new Del Taco menu item! They are on a roll this year. First, Jennie-O turkey tacos then fresh avocado and now Ensaladas!
The Ensaladas come in three different flavors – Chicken Bacon Avocado, Mexican Chopped Chicken Salad and Signature Taco Salad. Each salad is made to order and any substitutions are welcome. I was provided with a Del Taco gift card and had a chance to try a couple out.
The Mexican Chopped Chicken Salad is made with fresh grilled chicken, black beans, avocado, tortilla chips, fresh avocado, cilantro, spicy jack cheese, a lettuce blend and handmade pico de gallo. It come with salsa casera to use as a dressing.
The Signature Taco shares the lettuce blend, avocado, black beans, chips and pico de gallo but also included ground beef, cheddar cheese and sour cream with a salsa casera dressing.
Each salad is a full meal unto itself and has generous portions of the fresh avocado. At $5.49 it’s an inexpensive, filling meal. If you’d like to try it yourself why not enter to win a gift card? One lucky winner will get $20 to go to town at Del Taco. Good luck!

We like getting a dozen tacos for the family dinner once in awhile.
I’ve never eaten at Del Taco but the Chicken Bacon Avocado looks fabulous.
