Having a Drink at Buzz Wine Beer Shop
Isn’t it just the best when you try things on a whim? I love discovering new things by chance. And that’s exactly what happened when I discovered Buzz Wine Beer Shop.
My pals and I were hanging out in Downtown LA when we decided to stop in and take a look around. We discovered a wine and beer shop that has it’s tongue firmly in cheek…For one, the employees wear jumpsuits that look like a cross between a mechanics uniform and an old fashioned space suit. Second, check out the filers that cover their walls.
Ok. Maybe this picture doesn’t help much. Here’s a an example.
And just go to their website…now how many wine shops have a Bob Odenkirk skit front and center on their homepage?
Gotta love a wine and beer shop that doesn’t take itself too seriously. But don’t let that fool you, these guys know their stuff. We ended springing for a beer tasting and our genial server taught us all about the beers we were trying.
We learned all about the breweries and the types of beers and about life and the cosmos….ok maybe I’m getting carried away.
But I did find a couple that I really enjoyed which you know is rare for me. But don’t ask me what they were. It’s been, um, awhile since I got around to writing this post. I know there was a pumpkin ale…
And if you’re not into beer you can also go for a wine flight at the tasting bar. And then might as well take some home…there’s a lot to choose from.
