Having Lunch at Eat.Drink.Americano
It’s starting to look like it’s Arts District week here on the blog. I can’t help it, I’ve been spending so much time in the area recently. AND there’s so much fun stuff there that I just have to share it with you. Today, I’ve got a great place for lunch – Eat.Drink.Americano.
Isn’t it so fabulous looking? From the outside, I had no idea this is what was within. When I walked inside I was immediately struck by the unique style of the establishment.
But of course, style only takes you so far. The food has to be good, too. I’m happy to report that at Eat.Drink.Americano it sure is.
That is the Roasted Turkey Club – it’s on half a baguette with shredded lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon and a basil oil. Oh Man! It was so tasty. And HUGE. My companion opted for the Garden Fresh Flatbread.
Fresh tomatoes, basil and mozarella with a balsamic reduction. Yum!
And as big as our meal was we had to try dessert.
A pumpkin tart with homemade ice cream. Perfect for this time of year!
I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Michael, during my visit and what a nice guy! He opened this restaurant with a true love of good food and the surrounding area. As many ingredients as possible are sourced locally and the decor is largely created by local artists.
I’m so happy I found Eat.Drink.Americano and can’t wait until my next visit.
