The Kinney Hotel Opens in Venice Beach

Venice is fast becoming THE place to be in LA. With tech giants moving in and a wide variety of hip dining spots and fashionable stores it’s one of the coolest corners of SoCal. I now I find myself there quite frequently and sometimes think it would be awfully nice if I could just stay over and really immerse myself in the town. Recently, a new hotel just opened that’s the perfect spot for a weekend jaunt – The Kinney.

The Kinney is located on Washington Blvd. just kitty corner to the popular Sunny Spot restaurant. Located within walking distance of the Boardwalk, Marina del Rey and the Abbott Kinney district it’s a convenient and hip place to stay.  I recently toured the hotel and was able to see firsthand all that it offers.

There’s a common room to enjoy breakfasts and celebrations.

There’s a patio area filled with ping pong tables, lounge chairs and a fire pit.

And there’s bicycles available to rent for adventures throughout Venice.

As for the rooms, they’re modern and stylish with comfy beds, flat screen TV’s and complimentary Wi-Fi.

If you’re feeling extra special there’s also the Crash Pad Suites which offer king size beds and a separate living room with a pull out couch.

Seriously, I’d be happy if this were my apartment let alone a hotel room!

I was impressed with The Kinney and would gladly stay their on a weekend jaunt to the area. Close to the action with a wide range of amenities it’s the place to stay in Venice.
