Made in L.A. 2014 at The Hammer Museum
The Hammer Museum is one of LA’s finest cultural institutions. Not only does it offer an array of cutting edge and traditional art but, as of last February, admission is free. Thank goodness for that because this summer a must see exhibition is on display – Made in L.A. 2014.
Made in L.A. runs June 15-September 7 and brings together 35 Los Angeles based artists. The exhibit is all encompassing and will take up the entire museum space. In addition, there will be various related public programs offered throughout the summer. The artists participating range from painters to performance artists to sculptors to photographers and everything in between. An emphasis is on emerging and under recognized artists so it’s sure to be quite the exhibit.
Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll find.
