New Fun at Knott’s Berry Farm
Growing up in Orange County there were two places that I loved to visit – Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm. To this day each has a special place in my heart. This week I was lucky enough to attend a media preview of the fun changes debuting at Knott’s this summer.
Did you know that this year marks the 30th anniversary of Camp Snoopy? Time sure does fly. To celebrate this milestone the area has undergone a bit of a makeover. There are three new rides – Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer, Linus Launcher, and Pig Pen’s Mud Buggies.
The Grand Sierra Railroad has added some new sites along it’s route. I took a trip and was delighted by what I saw.
Love those Peanuts! I was also happy to discover that my favorite ride as a kid is still there. The good old Huff and Puff.
Camp Snoopy wasn’t the only area that was refurbished. The historic Calico Mine Ride also underwent a makeover. I was able to take a trip and it’s the same fun experience with a fabulous new look.
To end the day I caught a glimpse of the ice skating spectacle – Snoopy Unleashed. I must say going in I was a bit skeptical but I loved it! It was so cute and that beagle knows how to skate!
