Spotlight on Local Brand Manna Kadar Cosmetics

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I love that through this column I’ve discovered so many wonderful brands based out of Southern California. I knew this area was a hotbed for ideas but I love seeing just what our creative residents have come up with. Take this next brand – Manna Kadar Cosmetics.

Now, I was unfamiliar with the brand prior to visiting it’s headquarters in Laguna Niguel. But on my visit I meet Manna Kadar herself, an affable personality whose goal is to simplify the beauty process for the consumer. That’s right up my alley – when it comes to makeup application I’m all thumbs so the easier the process the better.

Take Transfix. Transfix is a product that turns any eye shadow into a smudge proof eyeliner or brow filler. Or Prime Time a combined eye and lip primer, highlighter, and concealer. My personal favorite is the Sheer Glo, an item featured in this month’s Birch Box. It’s a super light shimmer lotion. I tried it at the salon and I fell in love with it. I normally hate foundation – I feel like it’s suffocating my skin. But this product was awesome – I didn’t even feel like I was wearing makeup.

I’m so happy to have discovered Manna Kadar Cosmetics and am super happy it’s based right here in SoCal.
