Visiting The Neon Museum in Las Vegas
My other must visit Vegas location, besides The Mob Museum, was The Neon Museum. My friends had visited a few years ago and loved it so I knew I could not miss it. So after a late night on the Strip we woke up bright and early one morning so we could make the 9am tour.
You see, The Neon Museum is a unique place. Aside from the visitors center it’s completely outdoors and the only way to visit is via a guided tour. The tour is $18 but is worth every penny because it’s an experience you’ll never forget.
The tour is led by a museum volunteer who is well versed in the history of the signs. In our hour long visit I learned so much about Las Vegas history and gained a whole new appreciation of Sin City.
The signs are true treasures and I’m glad there is a place devoted to their preservation.
Really, it’s a can’t miss stop on any trip to Vegas.
