Celebrate July 4th at The Queen Mary

full disclosure: I am receiving media passes to attend this event.

Can you believe the 4th of July is only a week away?!? Pretty soon we’ll be saying “Merry Christmas.” But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves.

My Independence Day tends to be pretty uneventful and I usually just watch fireworks on TV. But not this year! This year I’ll be at The Queen Mary for an amazing celebration.

Queen Mary

You may recall this will be second time I’m celebrating a holiday on The Queen Mary. That’s no accident, I had so much fun at the last event that I knew I wanted to be there on the 4th. An what an event it will be!

It’s called Celebrate a Century of Americana and each decade will be fully represented. Long to go back to the turn of the last century? There’ll be an old time fair with vintage games and activities. Wish you could visit the swingin’ thirties? There’ll be a speakeasy with live jazz and a cabaret show. Want to get your boogie oogie oogie on? There’ll be a Studio 54 complete with a disco band.

And that’s just a sampling of what you’ll find. There are 11 decades represented which means endless fun for the whole family. Plus fireworks! No 4th of July is complete without fireworks!

Tickets are $39.95 for adults and $19.95 for the kiddos. Or if you want to go first class VIP tickets are available for $59.95. You can purchase them here.
