Celebrating Los Angeles with Well Told

Since things have opened up more I’m so happy that I can start going out and about albeit in a limited capacity. Awhile ago things were much different and I spent most of my days indoors reading, cleaning and, of course, wasting time on my phone. The highlight of my day was when the mail came just in case I got a fun package (did I mention I was also doing a fair bit of online shopping?). One afternoon my mailman brought me a special gift from Well Told Design, a pair of custom etched rocks glasses featuring a map of Los Angeles, and it just about made my day.

It’s no secret that one of my favorite activities is to traverse the streets of Los Angeles discovering all the treasures the city holds and during the early days of covid it was a rough transition from driving around constantly to rarely ever leaving the house. I missed my city streets so when my rocks glasses arrived I immediately put them to use. Custom etched, they were stylish tributes to my favorite place and I loved using them to offer a toast to the City of Angels.

Well Told Design was founded in 2008 by four friends who wanted to make house hold items that were both on trend and had a personal touch. The result is a line of products from blankets to barware that celebrates what we love most in life like our hometowns, our favorite books and even the stars above. The Places & Maps line is a personal favorite of mine as it features of range of my favorite cities from Los Angeles (of course) to Long Beach to New York to London.
