Orchard Supply Hardware Grand Opening + GIVEAWAY

Back in the day I wasn’t the biggest fan of hardware stores. Those giant warehouses where I couldn’t find anything and where every other customer seemed to be wearing work boots and hard hats…no thank you! But things are changing. As more everyday folks are getting in touch with their DIY roots hardware stores are returning to smaller, intimate neighborhood style stores.
Orchard Supply Hardware is one of the stores leading the way. After leaving the area for awhile they are back in a big way recently opening three stores in Woodland Hills, Cerritos and Irvine. On March 21st all three of these stores will be celebrating their grand opening. There will be a board cutting ceremony, entertainment, giveaways and more!
Recently, I had the chance to tour the newly opened Orchard Supply Hardware in Cerritos.
What a beautiful space! It’s so warm and inviting…not at all like a warehouse. And in addition to tools and hardware and supplies they’ve got some fun surprises.

Birdhouses!
Barbeque Sauce! Ok, don’t know why I got so excited about that one. Anyhoo…
