Stopping at Earthbound Farm Farm Stand
I love a good farm stand. Since I’m a city dweller I don’t get to go to them too often so I can’t resist them when I travel. When flipping through the travel guide in my room at the Hofsas House I was happy to find a listing for the nearby Earthbound Farm Farm Stand.
Now, you may already be familiar with Earthbound Farm as their organic produce is found at most grocery stores. I’ve purchased it in the past but had no idea they’re based out of the Carmel Valley let alone the fact they have a farm stand. So when I saw the listing in the guide and found they were a mere 15 minute drive from our hotel, I knew we had to go.
The Carmel Valley is a beautifully, lush area…perfect for growing amazing produce. The farm stand is a quaint spot to stop and enjoy the area. Inside there’s a small market filled with snacks, produce, and household items.
There’s also a cafe counter offering freshly made soups, salads, sandwiches and smoothies. I had to try the turkey kale soup and it was deeelicious.
There’s lots of picnic tables outside to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while you’re eating.
So lovely! For dessert I tried their homemade raspberry honey frozen yogurt.
Mmm, mmm, mmm. While I snacked on it we walked around and admired the many gardens that surround the shop. There’s a berry patch, a cute kid’s garden, and a fun herb patch where you can cut your own fresh herbs.
The Earthbound Farm Farm Stand is a lovely spot to stop by, grab a few items, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I’m so happy to have discovered it on my trip.

I recently moved from Carmel by the Sea, I have fond memories of visiting the farm stand. My gym was close to there and we would stop in for lunch after. Very nice post and beautiful pictures.
Thank you so much!
