Tropicalia Treat – Happy Hour at Tropicalia Brazilian Grill

Who likes to eat dinner at a 50% discount? I do, I do! So where do I go? How bout Tropicalia Brazilian Grill in Los Feliz?

A couple of weeks ago my friend and I met up for dinner and she suggested a restaurant where their menu items would be half off. What?!? How is this possible? Happy hour of course. Now, when I think of happy hour, I think cheap well drinks and a few snack items (nachos, wings, etc.) that the restaurant would never serve on their regular menu. Not 50% of the dinner menu (or at least the majority of it). But that’s exactly what Tropicalia does between the hours of 4-6pm Monday – Friday.

And let me tell you, it’s not only cheap, it’s delicious! Just check out these dishes (and mind the blur).

Grilled Beef Steak Quesadilla – so good!

Clearly, I had the quesadilla. Thick slices of steak and green peppers and just enough cheese inside a flour tortilla grilled to perfection with a topping of fresh guac, salsa, and sour cream. Oh man! I want one now and it’s not even 10am!

So, if you want a tasty dinner at an inexpensive price, head on over to Tropicalia for happy hour. And maybe invite me!
