Celebrating Fall With a Cup Of Chai Tea

Fall is here! Fall is here! The weather in SoCal may not reflect it much but I can feel it in the air! I’m ready to break out my sweater, stock up on pumpkins and grab a nice cup of tea. Yup, I’m a tea nut and there’s no better time to enjoy a good cuppa than Autumn.

Recently, Big Train sent me a couple of samples of  delicious chai to help me usher in the season. Big Train is a SoCal based company that sells a huge variety of coffee, tea, and smoothie mixes. I love all those but If pressed to pick a favorite I would always go with tea.

I took the spiced chai and made a nice warm cup to enjoy while I started my new book (by a SoCal author no less -can’t wait to tell you all about it!). Mmmm…comfort in a cup.

With the vanilla I decided to try something a bit different and added ice.

Now I’m no stranger to iced chai…it’s how I get my tea fix during the summer. This one was just as yummy as my standbys (I’m looking at you Starbucks). But now I’m ready to put the cubes away and stick to the hot stuff. If the weather is willing to cooperate we’re in business! Welcome back Fall, I’m glad to see you again.
