Goings On About Town

You know about my love of StoryCorps. Well, they’ve got a new book coming out called All There Is: Love Stories from StoryCorps. It’s a collection of stories about love and marriage culled from StoryCorps participants. Now, I’ve read one of their previous books Listening Is An Act Of Love and it was wonderful. So, I’m sure this one will be just as good.

Anyway, to support the book’s release StoryCorps founder Dave Isay will be touring the country and he’s got two stops right her in SoCal. On Thursday, February 2 he’ll be in Pasadena and on Friday Feburary 3 he’ll be at Skylight Books (I’ve been there before and it’s a cool shop) in Los Feliz. I highly recommend checking these out. Admission is free and the book will be available to purchase.
