Holiday Lamplight Celebration Coming to Heritage Square

There are so many wonderful Southern California historic sites and museums and this is the best time of year to visit them because they’re all decked out for the holidays. Each year I try to visit a few for their special celebrations and next weekend I’m excited to head to Heritage Square for their 23rd Annual Holiday Lamplight Celebration.

Heritage Square, located north of downtown right off the 110, is a collection of buildings representing the diverse history of Los Angeles. I’ve been lucky enough to visit in the past and it’s really a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

Next weekend, the museum is holding their annual event – the Holiday Lamplight Celebration. On December 2 & 3 from 4-6pm visitors can step back in time to the holiday celebrations of old. There will be an 1892 Victorian Thanksgiving, a 1915 Christmas Celebration and a 1945 New Year’s Eve celebration complete with interactive activities.
