Knott’s Scary Farm 2014 is Coming!

Knott's Scary Farm

It’s no secret I’m a total wimp but when I was invited to the press preview of Knott’s Scary Farm 2014 I decided to to put on a brave face and see what’s coming. I can’t be a scaredy cat forever!

The evening started with a bang with the introduction of the one, the only…Elvira!

Elvira

Yes, the Mistress of the Dark will be back for another season of frighteningly good entertainment. That’s the kind of scary I can handle!

In addition to Elvira the park will be jam packed with super scary surprises at every turn. There’ll be four main scare zones – Ghost Town Street, Gypsy Camp, Carnevil, and Fiesta de los Muertos.

And then there are the mazes. Returning favorites include the Edgar Allen Poe inspired Forevermore, the Houdini homage Black Magic, and the twisted fairy tale Pinocchio Unstrung.

Black Magic

There’s also three brand new mazes to keep you good and scared – Voodoo, an open concept, all encompassing bayou experience, The Tooth Fairy, a creepy twist on the childhood classic, and Trapped Lock & Key a completely immersive 20 minute fright. I can guarantee I will NOT be walking through that one.

Lots of stuff, right? But there’s more! This year marks the debut of Special Ops Infected – an interactive zombie apocalypse where you’re on a mission to destroy as much of the living dead as possible.
